Job Details

7–9+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI.
Deep dbt expertise: project design, incremental models, tests, macros, and documentation.
Strong dimensional and semantic modeling skills including grain decisions and metric definition.
Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with a cloud warehouse like Snowflake.
Strong BI/dashboarding skills in a modern tool (Omni, Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Disciplined approach to project structure, conventions, Git, and CI/CD practices.
Proven ability to translate business questions into modeled metrics and actionable dashboards.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
Effective communication skills for interacting with non-technical stakeholders.
Fast, iterative working style comfortable with ambiguity.

Design and build data models in dbt (staging, intermediate, and mart layers) with sound structure, testing, and documentation.
Apply dimensional modeling and grain discipline to ensure models are correct, performant, and reusable.
Define core business metrics in a semantic layer to ensure consistency across the organization.
Build and maintain dashboards in the BI stack (Omni) that are grounded in well-modeled data.
Handle row-level security, performance, and access for dashboards in a regulated, multi-tenant environment.
Establish and enforce clear conventions for project structure, CI/CD, and analytics engineering standards.
Review analytics work across the team to maintain consistency and quality.
