Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, or data engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Deep, hands-on experience building scalable data models with dbt.
- Strong experience managing and optimizing BigQuery.
- Proven track record with Fivetran or similar ingestion tools.
- Development experience with Looker and LookML.
- Experience partnering with Marketing or Growth teams on funnel and attribution analytics.
- Experience with data governance and version control (Git).
- Understanding of handling sensitive data in a compliant environment (e.g., HIPAA).
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Operate across the data stack to build, manage, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to reporting.
- Develop, test, and maintain robust, production-grade data models and schemas in BigQuery using dbt.
- Configure and manage data ingestion pipelines using Fivetran to integrate operational, financial, and clinical sources.
- Partner with clinical, operations, finance, and growth teams to translate business requests into actionable data projects.
- Design and maintain semantic layers and scalable reporting structures within Looker (LookML).
- Act as a technical mentor for data analysts and establish best practices for code reviews and version control.
- Implement data validation, dbt testing, and monitoring to ensure high integrity of data assets.
