Requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale.
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin programming languages.
- Track record of developing highly available distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and tooling, specifically AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to define technical plans for significant features with elegant, simple, and extensible designs.
- Experience making significant changes in large, complex codebases safely.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated ownership of personal growth and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly team goals through effective project management and execution.
- Lead engineers through complex, open-ended problems to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Collaborate with product, design, and analytics stakeholders to articulate technical constraints and risks.
- Monitor system operations and maintain availability, including participation in on-call efforts.
- Set and improve code review and design standards to foster a culture of quality and technical ownership.
