Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience selling site or CRO services to pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
- Direct engagement experience at mid-level and executive decision-maker levels.
- Demonstrated strength in consultative selling, communication, and executive-level presentations.
- Proven track record of client retention and long-term account growth.
- Ability to effectively manage complex client relationships and challenging financial scenarios.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and expanding an existing client base.
Responsibilities
- Achieve annual sales and revenue targets through strategic partnerships within the clinical research and trial services space.
- Expand existing sponsor and CRO relationships by identifying new study opportunities, therapeutic areas, and geographic growth markets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with key decision-makers, including clinical operations and executive leadership.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with client pipeline needs and M3 Wake Research site capabilities.
- Lead client presentations and proposals that effectively position multi-site clinical research solutions and differentiated enrollment performance.
- Manage business development pipeline, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination to secure new clinical trial placements.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across research services and ensure high client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growth.
- Provide regular performance updates and strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Support business development activities requiring approximately 25% domestic travel, including conferences and site visits.
