Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
- 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry with access experience.
- 3+ years of prior experience managing a team of Field Reimbursement Managers.
- Valid driver's license.
- Rare Disease experience strongly preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in a matrix environment (sales, market access, customer service, patient services, medical affairs, marketing).
- Understanding of the external environment and payer landscape.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
- Must maintain compliance with regulatory, legal, and operational rules.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Field Reimbursement Directors who manage Field Reimbursement Managers supporting hemophilia and rare hematology businesses.
- Develop and execute account business plans and strategies to optimize business performance.
- Coach, mentor, and develop key talent while managing day-to-day objectives and issues.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Market Access, Brand Marketing, and Medical Affairs.
- Establish relationships with key internal and external customer segments.
- Design and implement territory alignments to support overall performance.
- Oversee the development and implementation of reimbursement programs and tools to remove access obstacles.
