Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Partner Manager, Relationship Manager, Customer Success Manager, or Account Manager.
- Expertise in SaaS technology or media companies.
- Proven track record managing high-volume partner portfolios and hitting Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and growth goals.
- Experience working with Global System Integrator/System Integrator organizations to build and scale technology practices.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills for both in-person and virtual settings.
- Familiarity with the WordPress ecosystem and third-party tools leveraged by agencies.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for partner events and WordCamps.
- Adaptability to new technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape shifts.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of Automattic products through digital agency partner channels.
- Manage a book of Premier partners through their full lifecycle from onboarding to expansion.
- Develop and execute high-impact strategies for partner retention, net revenue retention, and growth.
- Represent Automattic and build product awareness via one-to-many engagement approaches.
- Communicate partner needs and status updates to WordPress VIP and internal business unit stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to help agencies build successful WordPress VIP practices.
- Provide product training and support to enhance partner understanding of value propositions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Leadership teams.
- Attend and support flagship WordCamps and partner events to drive lead generation.
- Gather and advocate for partner feedback to improve the overall partnership experience.
