Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Partner Manager, Relationship Manager, Customer Success Manager, or Account Manager at a technology or media company (SaaS preferred).
- Expertise in managing a high-volume portfolio of partners while meeting or exceeding Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and growth goals.
- Experience working with Global System Integrator/System Integrator organizations.
- Demonstrated experience communicating and negotiating with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage individuals and groups, including C-level executives.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Deep familiarity with the WordPress ecosystem and experience with third-party agency tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for partner events.
- Adaptability to new technologies and changes in the competitive landscape.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of Automattic products through partner channels with digital agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Premier partners through the entire journey from onboarding to expansion.
- Develop and execute high-impact strategies for partner retention, net revenue retention, and growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor to agencies to help them scale their WordPress VIP business practices.
- Provide training and support to partners to enhance their understanding of Automattic's value propositions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Marketing, Sales, CS, Product, and Executive Leadership.
- Attend and support flagship WordCamps and other partner events to drive lead generation.
- Gather and synthesize partner feedback to improve products and the overall partnership experience.
