Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and its native analytics and visualization capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, including Spark/PySpark or similar distributed-computing technologies.
- Proven ability to develop predictive models, anomaly-detection systems, and scoring models.
- Experience working with complex healthcare, financial, or transactional enterprise datasets.
- Strong ability to communicate analytical findings through clear visualizations and dashboards for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of modern lakehouse architectures including Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
- Ability to develop auditable, explainable analytical methodologies for regulated or government environments.
- Experience working within Agile, product-oriented, and iterative delivery environments.
- Must be able to comply with government requirements related to security and sensitive data handling.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced analytics using Databricks, Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark.
- Build Databricks SQL and AI/BI dashboards to provide operational and executive visibility into revenue-cycle performance.
- Translate analytical models into intuitive visualizations that highlight financial exposure and recovery opportunities.
- Develop detection logic for revenue leakage, coding inconsistencies, and denied or rejected claims.
- Create predictive and anomaly-detection models to identify revenue-cycle issues before they cause financial loss.
- Establish standardized KPIs and analytical measures across all revenue-cycle processes.
- Partner with Data Engineers to ensure robust data structures that meet analytical and performance requirements.
- Validate models and dashboard calculations against authoritative source records for auditability.
