Requirements
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or quantitative equivalent, or B.S. plus 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience designing and analyzing incrementality tests (e.g., geo holdouts, matched-market tests, synthetic controls).
- Proven experience building, validating, and interpreting media mix models.
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, causal inference, experimental design, and time-series methods.
- Ability to evaluate methodological tradeoffs and select approaches appropriate for specific business decisions.
- Capability to work independently on ambiguous problems.
- Experience with Bayesian modeling frameworks such as PyMC is a plus.
- Experience calibrating MMM results with incrementality tests is a plus.
- Familiarity with brand measurement, awareness studies, or retail/offline sales data is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Translate business questions into clear, testable measurement plans.
- Design and analyze incrementality tests, including geo-based experiments, holdouts, and matched-market tests.
- Build, validate, and interpret media mix models to estimate channel contribution and ROI.
- Develop measurement approaches for upper-funnel and brand media impact.
- Conduct statistical power analyses, model diagnostics, and sensitivity analyses.
- Work with large, multi-source marketing datasets to identify quality issues and analytical implications.
- Turn findings into practical recommendations for media planning and optimization.
- Apply advanced analytics methods like predictive modeling, segmentation, and forecasting.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to shared measurement standards.
