Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in applied data science or machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience developing and evaluating supervised ML models.
- Practical experience with experimentation and statistical reasoning.
- Familiarity with reinforcement learning or decisioning frameworks.
- Ability to independently frame problems and drive analysis from ambiguity to impact.
- Strong communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
- STEM degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfortable working with large, messy real-world datasets.
Responsibilities
- Translate business objectives into defined modeling tasks and evaluation frameworks.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to assess quality, stability, and feasibility.
- Develop, train, and maintain predictive supervised learning models.
- Implement and tune decision logic using reinforcement learning or contextual bandit approaches.
- Design and analyze A/B tests to inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into live workflows and monitor performance.
- Communicate findings and technical tradeoffs to product and client stakeholders.
