Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (equivalent professional experience accepted).
- 6 years of experience in proposal or pursuit management within the AEC industry or a comparable professional services environment.
- 6 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- 3 years of experience with collaboration platforms such as SharePoint or Microsoft Teams.
- 3 years of experience producing proposal and marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Suite.
- InDesign proficiency is highly preferred, with working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Ability to manage high-complexity, strategic pursuits end-to-end.
- Experience contributing to competitive analysis and win strategy development.
- Familiarity with CRM and proposal management systems like Salesforce or Deltek.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and coach contributors.
- Strong change management instincts for process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of RFx responses, including proposals, presentations, and marketing assets.
- Manage multiple concurrent pursuits, prioritizing competing deadlines under pressure.
- Analyze solicitation documents to identify compliance requirements, risks, and key deadlines.
- Develop and manage pursuit schedules, responsibility matrices, and review milestones.
- Facilitate kickoff meetings to define strategy, win themes, and team roles.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather, write, and refine proposal content.
- Conduct stage-gate proposal reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
- Oversee final production, quality control, and submission of deliverables.
- Track pursuit outcomes, win/loss trends, and lessons learned to improve future performance.
- Maintain and improve proposal tools, templates, and best-practice resources.
