Requirements

- 3+ years in a formal people-management role
- Demonstrated experience leading a team through the full software development lifecycle
- Strong technical background sufficient to guide architecture and code-quality decisions
- Experience managing performance, providing feedback, and supporting career development for direct reports
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across engineering, product, and business functions
- Experience balancing competing priorities and delivering against roadmaps in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of software engineers, including regular 1:1s, performance feedback, and career growth planning
- Partner with product management to plan, prioritize, and deliver team roadmaps on schedule
- Guide technical decision-making within the team, ensuring sound architecture, code quality, and engineering best practices
- Foster a healthy team culture built on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Own team hiring, onboarding, and staffing plans in partnership with recruiting
- Identify and remove blockers, manage risk, and communicate status clearly to stakeholders and leadership
- Participate in incident response and post-incident reviews for issues affecting the team's systems
- Contribute to broader engineering organization initiatives, such as process improvements and cross-team standards
