Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in IT.
- 2+ years of experience at a fast-growing tech company or startup.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP.
- Experience managing an Identity Provider platform such as Okta.
- Experience managing a Managed Service Provider (MSP) such as Rippling.
- Experience as an IT lead or primary liaison during SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI, or similar compliance audits.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
- Experience with implementing security tools and monitoring systems.
- Ability to travel to NYC for 1 week per month if located remotely.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day IT Operations strategy and provide mentorship to the IT Support Specialist.
- Manage MSP relationships for hardware provisioning and employee lifecycle management.
- Administer and improve SSO environment with Okta, including SAML, SCIM, and role-based access control.
- Implement and maintain security configurations across software, hardware, and cloud infrastructure.
- Manage security tooling including firewalls, SIEM, and intrusion detection systems.
- Serve as primary liaison for third-party IT audits including SOC I & II, PCI, and SOX.
- Develop, maintain, and govern all IT documentation, SOPs, and internal policies.
- Drive remediation planning for any IT audit findings.
