Requirements
- 3–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to give direct feedback with professionalism and empathy.
- Highly proactive with a focus on ownership and autonomy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Experience managing remote teams (strongly preferred).
- Experience with Gmail, Slack, Google Sheets/Docs, Trello, or CRMs (strongly preferred).
- Experience creating automations or workflows (strongly preferred).
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 5–10 AR Operations Reps.
- Serve as the first point of contact for team questions, blockers, and escalations.
- Hold 1:1 meetings with each direct report 1–2 times per month.
- Monitor individual and team performance, productivity, and quality.
- Deliver clear feedback to build team motivation.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
- Partner with Customer Success and leadership to clarify priorities and document processes.
- Create and maintain SOPs, best practices, and internal documentation.
- Identify inefficiencies and improve workflows using automation tools.
- Perform hands-on AR work including managing shared inboxes and clearing queues on the Invoice Butler platform.
