Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of engineering experience.
- Deep understanding of Python with experience in Flask preferred.
- Experience working with AWS services including Lambda, Cognito, SNS, SQS, and DynamoDB.
- 2+ years of Salesforce experience.
- 3+ years of experience building or maintaining CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as OpenTofu and Terraform.
- Experience working in an Agile environment utilizing Scrum.
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners and technical leadership.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and code maintainability.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong sense of mentorship and ability to support team development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain new software for internal customers from the ground up.
- Define architecture, technical patterns, and engineering practices for a new platform while integrating with legacy systems.
- Develop backend services primarily in Python and Flask.
- Build and integrate solutions using AWS services (Lambda, Cognito, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB).
- Maintain and improve deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.
- Build and maintain infrastructure using OpenTofu and Terraform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage product roadmaps and delivery within Agile/Scrum.
- Partner with Tech Leads and Engineering Managers on technical decision-making.
- Mentor junior developers on Python and engineering best practices.
