Requirements
- Exposure to Apache Spark.
- Exposure to ETL concepts using pySpark and SparkSQL.
- Exposure to SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Appetite to work on challenging projects with mentor-oriented leadership.
- Prior experience working on AWS EMR and Apache Airflow (preferred).
- AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty certification (preferred).
- Azure Certification or Snowflake Certification (preferred).
- Cloudera or Hortonworks Certified Big Data Engineer (preferred).
- Understanding of DataOps Engineering (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Write efficient code in technologies chosen for the project such as Spark or Apache Beam.
- Explore new technologies and techniques to solve business problems creatively.
- Collaborate across engineering and business teams to build data products and services.
- Deliver projects with the team on schedule.
- Communicate project updates to customers.
