Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience developing and executing effective content marketing strategies, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong writing, copyediting, storytelling, and creative production skills, supported by a portfolio showcasing work across multiple formats and channels.
- Strong understanding of how content supports the B2B SaaS buyer journey, from awareness and consideration through conversion, retention, and advocacy.
- Experience producing and promoting content designed to generate measurable business outcomes, including traffic, engagement, conversions, pipeline, and revenue.
- Strong leadership and people-management capabilities, with the ability to coach, develop, motivate, and provide constructive feedback to content professionals and contributors.
- Experience directing both internal and external stakeholders while maintaining editorial consistency, quality, and strategic alignment.
- Experience managing content distribution across a range of paid and owned channels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex strategic programs, long-term initiatives, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Analytical proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work effectively with senior stakeholders across marketing, product, sales, and customer-facing functions.
- Highly organized, proactive, creative, and execution-oriented, with the ability to operate effectively in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve a comprehensive B2B content strategy designed to increase audience awareness, purchase intent, customer loyalty, and measurable business results.
- Lead the end-to-end content lifecycle, including strategy, planning, production, distribution, promotion, and optimization across multiple formats and channels.
- Develop a diverse content portfolio spanning short-form video, original research, case studies, webinars, conference presentations, social content, thought leadership, and other strategic initiatives.
- Partner closely with Growth, Product, Sales, Customer Success, People, and other internal teams to identify content opportunities and support broader marketing and company objectives.
- Manage and develop internal team members, providing direction, coaching, feedback, and mentorship while maintaining a high standard of content quality.
- Coordinate relationships with freelancers, agencies, industry experts, and other external partners, ensuring projects remain aligned with strategic objectives and quality expectations.
- Establish and monitor content marketing KPIs, analyzing metrics such as web traffic, conversions, pipeline contribution, and closed-won revenue.
- Serve as a player-coach who combines strategic leadership with hands-on writing, editing, creative development, project management, and content production.
