Requirements

  • 5–7 years of professional experience installing, configuring, and administering UNIX/Linux-based systems within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience supporting and securing cloud-based systems in AWS and Azure.
  • Practical experience implementing and configuring Kion.
  • Experience requesting and installing secure certificates, enabling Global Security through LDAP registries, and configuring SSO using SPNEGO and SAML.
  • Strong UNIX shell scripting capabilities.
  • Experience with DevOps and automation tools, particularly Ansible.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills, including log and trace analysis.
  • Strong understanding of security standards and hardening requirements, including DHS 4300A, DoD STIG, and FISMA.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging products and technologies and recommend solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and contribute effectively within teams.
  • AWS, Azure, Ansible, or other relevant DevOps certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain cloud-based IT infrastructure, systems, and operational processes across enterprise environments.
  • Provide second-level diagnosis and resolution for complex infrastructure and system issues, including analysis of logs, traces, and service requests.
  • Support the implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, configuration, and enhancement of customer IT systems.
  • Monitor network and computer system performance and coordinate network access and connectivity.
  • Perform Linux and UNIX administration activities across large-scale environments.
  • Develop, test, debug, and enhance Ansible Playbooks and automation solutions.
  • Analyze security scans, remediate findings, and address Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to strengthen system security and compliance.
  • Coordinate configuration changes, installations, and upgrades with application owners.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and written instructions.
