Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or DevOps.
- 5+ years of experience supporting AWS cloud migrations and modernization strategies.
- 5+ years of DevOps and CI/CD experience with automation scripting in Bash, Python, or Groovy.
- 3+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts.
- 3+ years of experience managing platform technologies such as Cassandra, Kafka, or Amazon MSK.
- 3+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services including EKS, RDS, EC2, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cloud readiness assessments and develop migration strategies for on-premises to AWS transitions.
- Design, build, deploy, and optimize AWS solutions using services such as EKS, RDS, and S3.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Manage containerized applications and deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and releases.
- Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to identify dependencies and modernize legacy architectures.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members on cloud-native best practices.
