Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or compliance.
- Mandatory cloud security or compliance certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialist, Azure Security Engineer, CCSK, CCSP).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security concepts and frameworks (CISv8, NIST, ISO, CSA).
- Experience with SIEM, WAF, vulnerability scanning, and pen testing tools.
- Knowledge of OWASP Web/API vulnerabilities and compensating controls.
- Understanding of Web/API security architecture and authentication (OIDC, OAuth2, Spring Security).
- Applied knowledge of cryptography fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with security regulations (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement security controls and processes.
- Implement and monitor security tools for AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Mentor staff on cloud-based security controls.
- Conduct security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure and data.
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and incidents.
- Support compliance initiatives and certifications for cloud environments.
- Provide security guidance and best practices to engineering, DevOps, and IT teams.
