Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with at least one modern language (TypeScript, Node.js, .NET, or Python).
- Proven ability to read and analyze code in multiple stacks to identify security vulnerabilities.
- Deep understanding of identity and authorization mechanics including OAuth, token exchange, and session management.
- Knowledge of API standards and security, including REST, GraphQL, and OpenAPI.
- Hands-on experience in manual web and API security testing and vulnerability triage.
- Experience in threat modeling and identifying trust boundaries in complex designs.
- Competence in AWS and infrastructure-as-code, including IAM scoping and network control.
- Practical exposure to AI/LLM security, such as adversarial testing or research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Adversarially test AI and LLM-backed features including prompt injection, jailbreaks, and tool abuse.
- Build and operate production security services and internal tooling using TypeScript, Node.js, .NET, or Python.
- Triage vulnerability findings and perform manual testing on web applications and APIs.
- Conduct threat modeling based on product designs and technical specifications.
- Manage and automate the AppSec tooling estate and security infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide actionable security feedback and training.
