Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.
  • Domain experience in digital account opening, loan origination, or financial onboarding technology.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
  • Strong proficiency in Angular and TypeScript.
  • Proven experience building and integrating with core banking systems and third-party financial APIs.
  • Proven ability to architect scalable, secure, and compliant systems in a regulated financial environment.
  • Solid understanding of KYC/AML compliance, identity verification, and data privacy requirements.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Must be available to work Eastern Time Zone hours.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-growth, process-building startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical direction and architecture for Bankjoy's OAO and OLA products, ensuring scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead solution design and quarterly planning to align engineering outputs with business objectives.
  • Contribute hands-on to development, testing, and debugging using C#, .NET Core, and Angular.
  • Manage technical integrations with core banking platforms like Corelation, Jack Henry, and Fiserv, alongside third-party fraud and verification APIs.
  • Mentor and coach engineering team members, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product, Implementation, and Client Success teams to deliver features and support smooth client go-lives.
  • Establish monitoring, CI/CD, and testing standards to maintain production reliability.
