Requirements
- Proven experience in precast concrete design or manufacturing.
- Experience in mechanical design, tooling/mould design, steel fabrication, or industrial design.
- Proficiency in 2D drafting software such as AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in 3D parametric modeling tools like SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Fusion 360.
- Experience with BIM/precast detailing software like Tekla Structures or Revit.
- Competency in ERP and inventory management systems like NetSuite, SAP, Odoo, or MYOB Advanced.
- Proficiency with digital takeoff tools such as Bluebeam Revu or Planswift.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Pivot Tables.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote offshore environment.
- Experience in procurement and supplier management.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop moulds for precast concrete products in coordination with the General Manager.
- Source local and international mould manufacturers and fabricators.
- Prepare and coordinate technical drawings for mould manufacture.
- Manage the procurement of production materials including steel, lifting systems, and concrete accessories.
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations, pricing, and specifications.
- Place and track purchase orders, monitoring lead times and deliveries.
- Liaise directly with Australian suppliers via email and phone.
- Analyze and improve existing mould designs to increase efficiency and product quality.
