Experience: 5+ years

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years experience on the zSeries (mainframe) platform.
Hands-on technical experience with installation and maintenance of CICS TS and related OEM products.
Thorough working knowledge of IBM’s SMP/E.
Strong analytical skills and understanding of CICS TS concepts, configuration, and tailoring.
Working knowledge of CICS TS performance monitoring tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to multi-task and work under short deadlines in high-pressure situations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Availability for on-call, overtime, and scheduled weekend work.

Responsibilities

Fulfill customer service orders for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS and related OEM software.
Provide primary support for CICS TS and related OEM software products.
Perform installations of OEM software products according to best practices and company standards.
Support customer partitions for annual operating system upgrade processes.
Assist project managers in migrating newly acquired customers.
Execute tasks associated with disaster recovery plans in cooperation with Disaster Recovery Services.
Adhere to ITSM change control procedures for fixes and upgrades.
