Job Details

Experience: 10+ years

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of experience on the zSeries (mainframe) platform.
Hands-on technical experience with installation and maintenance of CICS TS and related OEM products.
Thorough working knowledge of IBM’s SMP/E.
Strong analytical skills with CICS TS concepts, configuration, and tailoring.
Experience with tools used to monitor performance of CICS TS regions.
Ability to multi-task and work under short deadlines in high-pressure situations.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentations).
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be available for on-call duties, overtime, and scheduled weekend work.

Responsibilities

Fulfill customer service orders (CSOs) for mainframe z/OS customers concerning CICS TS and related OEM software.
Provide primary technical support for CICS TS-related problems on a 24/7/365 basis.
Install and configure OEM software products according to Ensono standards and best practices.
Collaborate with functional teams to prepare customer partitions for annual operating system upgrades.
Support new customer migrations and transitions by addressing technical hurdles in a timely manner.
Execute disaster recovery tasks in coordination with Disaster Recovery Services teams.
Adhere to ITSM change control procedures for system fixes, upgrades, and maintenance.
