Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, Public Health, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in emergency management or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience with emergency management principles and FEMA guidelines (CPG 101, CCG, CPG 201).
- 2+ years of practical experience in HSEEP compliant exercise development.
- Completion of ICS courses 100, 200, 700, and 800.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing roles and project needs.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Willingness to travel and deploy to client sites up to 50% of the time.
- Ability to pass company and client background and reference checks.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of emergency management plans, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate and conduct emergency response drills and exercises to evaluate readiness.
- Present on topics at industry conferences based on subject-matter expertise.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and secure resources for emergency response.
- Support hazard mitigation, climate adaptation, and resilience plan development.
- Participate in proposal development and market analysis for growth efforts.
