Requirements
- Strong technical foundation in software engineering
- Experience in technical leadership or mentorship
- Ability to remain hands-on with coding (approx. 75% of the time)
- Comfortable with code reviews and debugging complex technical issues
- Ability to bridge communication between engineering and product stakeholders
- Experience planning and executing engineering sprints
- Proven ability to recruit and build engineering teams
- Desire to grow into an Engineering Manager role
- Ability to manage parallel projects and project timelines
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the co-founders on priorities, execution, and technical direction
- Act as the glue between engineering and product, ensuring alignment across teams and parallel projects
- Lead greenfield projects from the ground up, building new products powered by LLMs and AI technologies
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineers on the team
- Plan and run engineering sprints to support predictable, high-quality delivery
- Stay hands-on when needed — coding, reviewing, and debugging complex issues
- Recruit and build a strong engineering team, owning the hiring process end to end
- Support engineers’ growth through feedback, mentorship, and stretch opportunities
- Contribute to company-wide engineering and process initiatives
