Requirements
- 2-4 years of accounting or blended finance/accounting experience.
- Exposure to month-end close and invoicing cycles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Advanced Excel proficiency (lookups, pivots, large data validation).
- Working knowledge of general ledger accounting (debits/credits, accruals, prepaids, reconciliations).
- Experience with variance analysis and financial reporting.
- Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Preferred: Experience leveraging generative AI tools.
- Preferred: Experience with Planful.
- Willingness to travel periodically for business objectives and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own recurring month-end close responsibilities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and client accrual file updates.
- Manage the full invoicing cycle including usage loads, invoice/credit memo creation, and client delivery.
- Maintain accuracy between GL and balance sheet accounts and ensure NetSuite invoices are approved.
- Update and validate revenue data in Planful to keep operational and financial systems in sync.
- Support monthly reporting deliverables, including SG&A/COGS reviews, margin analysis, and productivity dashboards.
- Partner with department leads to validate billable hours and business fulfillment data.
- Contribute to Monthly Business Review materials including financial results, KPIs, and variance analysis.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve close and reporting processes through automation.
