Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Twelve (12) or more years of software-development experience across frontend and backend technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing web projects from start to finish.
- Expertise in designing overall web systems and choosing frameworks like React, Vue, or Node.js.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Agile / Scrum practices in a Government CI/CD environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility for a Public Trust position.
- Experience producing SOPs and technical documentation.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications for cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
- Experience with secure coding practices and automated security scanning.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and incident response aligned to NIST standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide application architecture and technical direction for the Decennial Budget Integration Tool (DBiT).
- Oversee modernization activities and guide development standards for the team.
- Write critical code, solve performance bottlenecks, and optimize database queries.
- Maintain code, scripts, and configurations in GitHub Enterprise with Jira traceability.
- Implement the Quality Control Plan and monitor compliance with federal processes.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Train and guide junior and mid-level developers through pair programming.
- Use enterprise monitoring tools to drive SLA reporting and incident response.
