Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders; minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy in an IOP, PHP, or comparable treatment setting.

Requirements

  • Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing therapy to individuals with substance use disorders.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy in an IOP, PHP, or comparable treatment setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of SUD diagnoses, medications, and treatment modalities.
  • Ability to effectively interact with diverse staff, patients, and community members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Certification in addiction counseling is preferred.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions for patients with substance use disorders, both in-person and via telehealth.
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment and discharge plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including CBT, MI, and DBT.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinic team members to formulate and execute integrated patient care plans.
  • Support patients in crisis intervention situations and coordinate higher levels of care as needed.
  • Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation in compliance with all relevant guidelines.
  • Educate patients and families on SUD, co-occurring disorders, and recovery resources.
  • Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education.
