Requirements
- 5+ years of combined experience across recruiting and HR or people operations, with ownership of both.
- Demonstrated people-management experience, including contractors or nontraditional structures.
- Experience leading high-volume or early-career talent hiring programs.
- Strong HR operations experience covering payroll, benefits, onboarding, and compliance.
- Experience with employer-of-record, PEO, or multi-state employment environments.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI in practical business workflows for automation or process improvement.
- Comfort with ATS and HRIS configuration, workflow automation, and prompt engineering.
- Experience handling employee relations and performance matters with discretion.
- Ability to build structure and repeatable processes in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Operational judgment to balance high hiring volumes with quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a pod of early-talent recruiters and fractional HR coordination support.
- Own the recruiting funnel from application review through offer, ensuring screening and selection processes meet standards.
- Manage the full employer-of-record lifecycle, including onboarding, background checks, I-9, payroll setup, and benefits enrollment.
- Establish efficient workflows for managing a growing workforce across multiple states.
- Identify repetitive recruiting and HR operations for automation or AI-assisted improvement.
- Partner with program management on employee relations and performance matters.
- Build repeatable systems for screening, hiring, and HR service levels.
