Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Account Management, Renewals, Customer Growth, enterprise sales, or related commercial functions.
  • 5+ years leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering strong gross retention, net retention, and expansion results in enterprise software or technology.
  • Significant experience managing strategic enterprise renewals, complex pricing, and contractual negotiations.
  • Demonstrated player-coach ability to lead through others while handling high-impact customer situations.
  • Strong understanding of usage-based or consumption-based business models.
  • Experience building multi-threaded relationships with Product, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to turn data into business decisions.
  • Background in location technology, developer platforms, or cloud infrastructure is preferred.
  • Ability to influence and orchestrate cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and scale a team of eight Account Managers by establishing performance standards, coaching practices, and career development paths.
  • Own the Renewals organization’s strategy, operating model, processes, systems, and performance.
  • Establish a disciplined cadence for renewal and deal inspections, forecasting, account planning, and pipeline reviews.
  • Personally engage in strategic, complex, or at-risk renewals and expansions, supporting executive engagement and contract negotiations.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate renewal insights and market trends into customer-centric product priorities.
  • Use data and analytics to identify structural risks, retention drivers, and long-term organizational growth opportunities.
