Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in insurance operations, customer experience, or a closely related field.
  • 2+ years in a leadership role driving complex initiatives within a regulated industry.
  • Deep understanding of life insurance operations, policy administration, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives from discovery through execution.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to diagnose operational issues and make informed recommendations.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, or similar analytical tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Salesforce, administrative portals, or QA systems.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in fast-paced or ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Risk Management, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across insurance operations to identify inefficiencies and develop scalable solutions.
  • Drive operational reviews, quality programs, audit preparation, and controls to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Build and optimize dashboards and reporting tools to monitor performance and service-level expectations.
  • Act as a liaison between Customer Experience, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and carrier partners to align operational needs.
  • Triage product and operational issues, identify root causes, and oversee the implementation of sustainable solutions.
  • Partner with Product Managers to define operational requirements and support the rollout of new features.
  • Manage and mentor operations specialists and supervisors to foster accountability and professional development.
  • Oversee internal audit controls, fraud validation, and regulatory alignment across systems and vendors.
