Requirements
- Bachelors’ of Science degree from a 4 year accredited university.
- 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support capacity.
- Ability to influence stakeholders using technical acumen, business process knowledge, and change management skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations.
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
- Foundational knowledge of technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, and automation and control systems.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Champion and embed Samsara's cultural principles as the company scales.
- Develop expertise in Samsara IoT, AI, and computer vision product solutions.
- Articulate value propositions and industry-specific use cases to prospective customers.
- Deliver discovery sessions, product demonstrations, value assessments, and proof of concept implementations.
- Guide installers through hardware deployment plans and best practices.
- Write and document scripts using the open API to solve customer-specific technical challenges.
- Serve as a technical consultant to existing accounts to support integration, upsell, and cross-sell efforts.
- Translate technical feedback from the field to product teams and manage beta program enrollment for customers.
