Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in the security industry.
- At least half of security experience in a technical, customer-facing or consultative role.
- Deep expertise across three or more security product spaces (e.g., EDR, NDR, SIEM, cloud).
- Ability to reason about tradeoffs in security operations.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical practitioners and senior leadership.
- Expertise in root-cause analysis and complex technical troubleshooting.
- Understanding of the cybersecurity market, including products and provider landscapes.
- Fluency in security controls across Windows, Unix/Linux, AWS, GSuite, O365, and network gear.
- Knowledge of attack vectors, threat tactics, and attacker techniques (ATT&CK).
- Consultative skills including active listening, conflict management, and negotiation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the go-to escalation point for Customer Success, Technical Account Managers, and Technical Support Engineers.
- Participate in customer calls to provide deep technical expertise alongside relationship owners.
- Identify knowledge gaps and create comprehensive technical and process documentation.
- Partner with Security, Detection & Response, and Engineering teams to internalize and operationalize technical knowledge.
- Manage internal and external knowledge repositories to enable self-service.
- Coach and mentor less experienced teammates.
- Track inquiry volumes to prioritize team efforts.
