Requirements
- Hands-on experience with US GAAP accounting.
- Strong accounting fundamentals and experience managing the financial close process.
- Ability to work independently and own the finance function.
- Experience with accounting or finance in a multi-entity or group company setup.
- Proficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow planning.
- Ability to build financial models from scratch for strategic decision-making.
- Experience setting up finance and accounting processes from scratch.
- Ability to build lightweight dashboards and internal tools for financial analysis.
- CPA qualification is preferred.
- Experience with international accounting is preferred.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day finance and accounting operations across different entities, with a focus on the US entity and US GAAP accounting.
- Own the monthly financial close and ensure financial reporting and data are accurate.
- Work with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors, and other finance providers.
- Build and maintain financial reporting for revenue, expenses, cash, burn, and runway.
- Own budgeting and forecasting processes, including headcount, cash needs, and strategic runway planning.
- Build financial models to support hiring, spending, pricing, and fundraising.
- Design and improve accounting and finance processes to support organizational scaling.
- Prepare financial information for investors, board materials, and due diligence.
- Identify opportunities to automate finance workflows.
