Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2-3 years of accounting or finance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Title IV Regulations preferred.
- Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Computer and internet literate, with the ability to learn Campus Vue.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to maintain a quiet home office with high-speed internet connection.
- Ability to be on camera for remote work requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate communications and emails to students regarding financial aid processes.
- Follow up on FAFSA and missing document renewals for continuing students.
- Manage externship and graduation clearance to prevent outstanding student balances.
- Check NSLDS to review student default status, overpayments, and total aggregate loan limits.
- Respond to student inquiries regarding financial aid and account issues via phone and email.
- Reduce average accounts receivables for assigned students by identifying alternative payment solutions.
- Maintain strict adherence to federal/state compliance regulations and internal UMA policies.
