Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic or vocational qualification.
- 8+ years of directly related clinical research experience.
- Proven experience in neuroscience studies, particularly rare disease, ophthalmology, sleep, epilepsy, or psychiatry.
- Strong understanding of project management principles including time, quality, and cost management.
- Solid financial acumen including experience with budget management and contract negotiation.
- Advanced knowledge of therapeutic area and clinical development guidelines.
- Technical competency in systems including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with clinical trial systems such as CTMS, Preclarus, or Clarity.
- Ability to delegate and prioritize workloads in a changing environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Project Lead and primary sponsor contact accountable for overall project delivery.
- Establish and communicate customer expectations to the cross-functional project team.
- Ensure financial stewardship including contract understanding, resource alignment, and budget management.
- Drive risk identification and issue resolution at the project level.
- Ensure project team compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and negotiate contract modifications and timelines.
