Requirements
- MSc with at least five years’ practical experience or a PhD and at least two years practical experience in a Biological Science discipline, liquid handling, laboratory automation or related field.
- Working knowledge of NGS methods used in research.
- Experience using liquid handling and automation platforms.
- Understanding of genomics, drug discovery, and structural biology.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%), including internationally.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and record-keeping skills.
- Strong presentation and training capabilities.
- Leadership ability with a demonstrated record of mentorship.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team structure.
- Experience with Salesforce for record-keeping.
Responsibilities
- Organize and run product demonstrations on all SPT Labtech liquid handlers.
- Maintain high-level operational knowledge of liquid handling products and relevant application areas.
- Arrange and provide applications-based training to new and existing users.
- Provide on-going remote and in-person applications support to end-users.
- Develop, modify, and enhance advanced liquid handling and automation protocols.
- Contribute to conference strategy and attend industry events.
- Maintain Salesforce recordkeeping for all customer interactions.
- Deliver marketing content including application notes, webinars, and conference presentations.
- Collect customer feedback for product and software development.
- Mentor and provide guidance to Associate FAS team members.
