Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product engineering or forward deployed engineering.
- Ideally experience in an early-stage startup environment.
- Proven track record of turning ambiguous problems into operational systems.
- Hands-on experience deploying LLM-based systems into production.
- Proficiency in managing system evals, regressions, latency, and cost.
- Experience in failure handling and monitoring of non-deterministic AI outputs.
- Ability to design sound, scalable AI architecture.
- Strong technical leadership and decision-making skills for AI strategy.
Responsibilities
- Decide what to build next in AI and define the product roadmap.
- Partner with OpenAI to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation.
- Evaluate emerging AI technology including voicebots and computer-use agents.
- Design evaluation frameworks and guardrails for regulated production environments.
- Make engineering trade-offs between latency, cost, and accuracy.
- Set the technical architecture and standards for chatbot and prompt engineering teams.
- Build automations for record disputes, document validation, and communications.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate domain knowledge into AI systems.
