Requirements
- 5+ years in product engineering or forward deployed engineering, ideally in an early-stage startup.
- Proven track record of turning ambiguous problems into operational systems.
- Hands-on experience deploying LLM-based systems into production.
- Deep technical understanding of evals, regression testing, latency optimization, cost management, and failure handling.
- Ability to think in interfaces, failure modes, and blast radius.
- Fluent in modern AI technologies with a track record of building with new model releases.
- Pragmatic approach to engineering, balancing durable long-term systems with rapid shipping.
Responsibilities
- Decide what to build next in AI and define the technical roadmap.
- Partner with OpenAI to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation.
- Prototype emerging AI technology including voicebots and computer-use agents.
- Design evaluation frameworks and guardrails for regulated production environments.
- Set the technical standards for chatbot systems and maintain architecture as it scales.
- Build automations for record disputes, document validation, and service operations.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to turn domain knowledge into functional AI systems.
