Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience in strategy, growth, and network development, or enterprise leadership roles.
- Proven track record in K-12 education or a comparable mission-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop people managers across nested teams of 4 or more direct reports.
- Ability to set vision, goals, and strategy with executive-level autonomy and translate into accountable execution.
- Direct accountability for network-wide strategic priorities with demonstrated outcomes.
- Proven track record in designing and maintaining readiness or assessment frameworks grounded in data.
- Strong analytical and strategic skills, including financial modeling and landscape analysis.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into strategic narratives for executive and Board audiences.
- Demonstrated executive presence and ability to act as a thought partner to C-suite and regional boards.
- Record of partnering with field-based leaders to translate national strategy into local executable plans.
Responsibilities
- Define and own KIPP’s enterprise-wide growth and scale strategy, including multi-year targets and portfolio priorities.
- Set the vision and standards for network growth, ensuring scale decisions are evidence-based and aligned with One KIPP strategy.
- Establish methodologies to assess regional viability and oversee long-term sustainability planning.
- Serve as the primary growth voice to the C-suite and Board, providing strategic counsel and driving organizational alignment.
- Lead the partnership with regions pursuing growth, ensuring plans are executable and monitor progress against objectives.
- Manage and develop the Senior Director of Growth to drive regional growth partnerships and landscape analysis.
- Represent the Growth function in executive forums and board-level updates.
