Requirements
- Five (5) years of Accounts Receivable experience with emphasis on invoicing and collections.
- Advanced experience with accounts receivable, billing, and collections processes, preferably in a SaaS or subscription-based environment.
- Strong MS Excel proficiency for reconciliations, reporting, and analysis.
- Working knowledge of tax concepts as they relate to customer invoicing.
- Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex billing and collections issues.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and issue complex customer invoices, including recurring billing, contract amendments, and adjustments.
- Ensure accuracy of billing data, including pricing, quantities, taxes, and payment terms.
- Manage collection efforts including proactive outreach, follow-up on past-due balances, and resolution of payment delays.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries cross-functionally.
- Support month-end close activities and assist with audit documentation.
- Prepare accounts receivable aging and collection trend reports for management.
