Requirements
- 3+ years of Medical Billing experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end claims lifecycle and front-end revenue integrity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of front-end claim edits, rejection codes, and payer-specific billing requirements.
- Proven ability to improve and optimize processes using tools such as Salesforce, AMD, and payer portals.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, including Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong critical thinking skills for evaluating complex cases and identifying solutions.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills for managing high-volume pre-bill work queues.
- Experience with mental health or behavioral health billing and collections is preferred.
- Experience partnering with or leading offshore teams is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned Pre-Bill functions on the Revenue Cycle Management team.
- Investigate claim rejections and navigate evolving payer requirements.
- Prioritize and resolve complex claims accurately.
- Provide leadership and guidance to offshore teams.
- Monitor automated workflows to ensure operational efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze operational trends and identify opportunities to optimize workflows and claim outcomes.
