Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
- Master's degree in a healthcare-related discipline (Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, etc.) preferred.
- Experience implementing enterprise clinical and/or healthcare technology solutions within a large healthcare system.
- Expert knowledge of organizational change management, process improvement, and implementation science methodologies.
- Professional certifications such as Prosci Change Management, Lean, or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of healthcare informatics, healthcare data analytics, performance measurement, and reporting.
- Experience supporting enterprise governance, executive reporting, and strategic planning initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and closeout of complex healthcare programs supporting an integrated healthcare system.
- Provide strategic oversight of enterprise initiatives for VHA priorities.
- Manage contract performance, project schedules, deliverables, staffing, and resource allocation across multiple workstreams.
- Collaborate with VA leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to establish priorities, resolve issues, and achieve targeted program outcomes.
- Oversee program governance, risk management, performance reporting, and quality assurance activities.
- Direct project management activities using industry best practices.
- Provide oversight of data analytics, performance metrics, dashboard development, and reporting to support executive decision-making.
- Lead organizational change management efforts supporting implementation of clinical, operational, and technology initiatives.
