Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
  • Master's degree in a healthcare-related discipline (Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience implementing enterprise clinical and/or healthcare technology solutions within a large healthcare system.
  • Expert knowledge of organizational change management, process improvement, and implementation science methodologies.
  • Professional certifications such as Prosci Change Management, Lean, or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of healthcare informatics, healthcare data analytics, performance measurement, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting enterprise governance, executive reporting, and strategic planning initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and closeout of complex healthcare programs supporting an integrated healthcare system.
  • Provide strategic oversight of enterprise initiatives for VHA priorities.
  • Manage contract performance, project schedules, deliverables, staffing, and resource allocation across multiple workstreams.
  • Collaborate with VA leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to establish priorities, resolve issues, and achieve targeted program outcomes.
  • Oversee program governance, risk management, performance reporting, and quality assurance activities.
  • Direct project management activities using industry best practices.
  • Provide oversight of data analytics, performance metrics, dashboard development, and reporting to support executive decision-making.
  • Lead organizational change management efforts supporting implementation of clinical, operational, and technology initiatives.
