Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in custom mechanical manufacturing (CNC, sheet metal, injection molding, casting, etc.).
- Direct experience managing production projects through their full lifecycle.
- Proven track record of interfacing with demanding customers on complex technical projects.
- Deep understanding of DFM, tolerances, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Service-oriented mindset with a focus on customer outcomes.
- Experience in startup environments thriving in fast-moving and ambiguous situations.
- Ability to own outcomes completely and solve complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Own customer production outcomes as the single point of accountability for top accounts.
- Manage complex production projects involving DFM issues, supplier selection, quality requirements, and scale-up challenges.
- Navigate processes including CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, and casting.
- Guide customers through the transition from prototyping to volume manufacturing.
- Solve strategic supply chain challenges using manufacturing expertise.
- Translate between engineering specs, supplier capabilities, and business timelines.
