Requirements
- BA or BS in Science, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in sales, ideally involving direct and engaging distribution channel partners.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of North American Biopharma, Academia, Government, and Life Sciences markets.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving attitude, and solid business acumen.
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced, and action-oriented environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 25% within the territory or to other locations.
- Previous exposure to Laboratory Automation is highly desirable.
- Clinical, Pharmaceutical, or Synthetic Biology lab experience is preferred.
- MS or PhD in a Life Sciences or Chemistry field is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, scope, and close Laboratory Automation Solutions within Pharma, Synthetic Biology, and Clinical spaces.
- Partner with Field Application Specialists and Field Project Managers to deliver solutions.
- Grow market share and deliver sales quotas for hardware and consumables within the territory.
- Represent the organization at customer negotiations, trade shows, seminars, and conferences.
- Collaborate with team members to provide automated solutions and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion company core values and drive Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback into business operations.
