Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing the permitting process for energy project teams.
- Demonstrated experience with proactive business development.
- Experience managing environmental resource specialists and large project teams.
- Valid driver’s license and active personal automobile liability insurance by the first day of employment.
- Strong technical writing and research skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to obtain necessary approvals to construct and operate energy generation and infrastructure projects.
- Foster client connections through existing client relationships and proactive business development.
- Manage projects that are fast-paced with changing requirements.
- Lead permitting strategies to ensure client expectations are met.
- Lead the preparation, organization, and production of environmental compliance management plans, permit applications, and other environmental documents.
- Coordinate with client, field personnel, and environmental resource specialists to ensure permit conditions are implemented during construction.
- Provide QA/QC of work products and mentorship to team members.
