Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with meaningful time spent building backend services or service integrations.
- Deep experience with back-end languages such as Python and Golang.
- Comfortable with paired programming.
- Ability to design solutions considering team maintenance requirements.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Experience building integrations in a distributed systems environment.
- Understanding of async patterns, idempotency, and failure handling in practice.
- Experience with cloud solutions and Kubernetes (k8s).
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain network delivery solutions for MCG Data Science SDKs (deployment, security, auth, observability, processes, etc).
- Work closely with teammates to understand integration contracts, implement to spec, and surface early blockers.
- Write and maintain documentation and runbooks for the systems you own.
- Participate in on-call rotation for the internal platform services; respond to incidents, own post-incident reviews, and drive reliability improvements from what is learned.
- Provide expert code reviews and technical mentorship within the team.
- Design solutions on modern infrastructure (cloud solutions, k8s, LLMs) with expert level understanding of what and why.
