Requirements
- Have deep hands-on ownership of CI/CD, including designing and rebuilding pipelines.
- Bring software engineering ability and write production code.
- Have experience with pipelines serving multiple language ecosystems, dependency caches, test runners, and a coherent release process.
- Understand DORA metrics well enough to instrument them, interpret them, and use them to prioritize work.
- Have practical experience with infrastructure-as-code and containerization.
- Have carried on-call responsibility for systems you built.
- Be able to influence engineering practices through mentorship, better tools, clear writing, and earned credibility.
- Have hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tooling.
Responsibilities
- Own and re-architect the CI/CD pipeline end to end across three language ecosystems.
- Identify where engineering time is spent through conversation and data, and address the largest costs.
- Build internal tooling that engineers choose to adopt.
- Improve flaky tests, feedback loops, and integrations between systems that slow delivery.
- Instrument delivery metrics and use them to guide decisions and report progress.
- Improve local development setup and onboarding.
- Introduce AI-assisted development into the workflow deliberately.
- Carry on-call responsibility for the systems you build.
